Sustainable Brand Platform's Carbon Footprint calculator is built in compliance with the GHG Protocol and OEF framework.
Our Product LCA is built in compliance with the ISO, PEF and EPD framework. Clients can choose which framework they want to use for their LCA calculations.
Our approach involves using a combination of primary and secondary data to provide accurate measurements and effective emission reductions.
Our software orchestrates suppliers’ ESG assessment at scale. It provides the flexibility to
We provide integration with PLM and ERP Systems.
We cover from Scope 1 to Scope 3 (all categories), with a strong focus on category 1.
Currently, both supplier-specific LCI and emission factors are added by our team to the database. We are developing a feature that allows providing energy related emission factors directly by the brand. We also provide a feature that allows for automated primary data collection from suppliers, through our member area.
We have full ownership of the methodology implemented in its software. It has been developed based on renowned Impact assessment frameworks like GHG protocol, ISO 14040/44, 67, 64, PEF, EPD. Starting from these frameworks, the methodology has been made specific to the fashion industry making it unique in the market.
Yes. Product design choices are evaluated by looking at product / material level indicators. To evaluate production choices we provide process-level impact KPIs. Moreover, using the upcoming Sustainable Design Simulation tool, product designer will be able to test and evaluate multiple alternatives at the design stage.
Each production process present in the datebase is associated with a supply chain tier (1 to 4). The calculation engine automatically associates tier 1 processes with the manufacturer and tier 2 processes with the material supplier. However, the user can modify the default associations and associate each process with a specific supplier.
Yes, it does. If the supplier of each process is provided, then the software automatically calculates the distance between the location of each processing step. In the case the transport type is not available we use default scenarios based on the PEFCR guidelines. If information about process suppliers is not available, default calculation values following the PEFCR will be applied.
Analytics are displayed per single product with the following structure:
1. Overall product impact
- Product impact across the value chain (material, packaging, transportation)
- Product impact across all Processes (ranked from highest to lowest)
2. At company level
- GHG protocol (scopes and categories)
- Value chain impact distribution (Materials, Company, Transport, Commuting etc..)
Results are provided at:
1. Product levels to allow product comparison and benchmarking
2 At component level (i.e. shoes: upper material, embellishment, heel, lining, sole, trims, laces) to better understand the most impactful components
3. At article/material to compare different materials and find the best alternative
4. At process level to understand how is the impact distributed across processes and which requires a deeper focus
All insights given allow a company full visibility on the hotspots, key investment areas and their evolution.
Yes. We run regular quality checks on our own database and data collected through our platform. For data provided from third parties we don't have a system in place yet. It also depends on the type of data provided.

Our primary focus is to support companies in the fashion industry to access their real time sustainability performances at company, product and supply chain level. We see data as the key enabler of the industry sustainable transition and we are building the digital infrastructure that could support it, through reliable impact assessment calculation and data shareability across players in the supply chain.
